A BOY!!!!

Johnny and I went to my 2nd Ultrasound yesterday and they confirmed that we are indeed having a BOY!!! He is even waving at us in the picture..(Ok so I'd like to think) :)

We are so excited and so are the girls. You know those two didnt want to have to share any of their"girl" stuff with him.

In fact when Isabela found out she went upstairs got dressed and when she came down I said. "where are you going?" she said "baby gap".

I can't believe that is inside of you. I am always amazed with the whole pregnancy thing no matter how many times I have done it. I am glad you guys are having a boy. I really don't want to call him Johnny. If that means I have to start calling Johnny "John" I just can't do it. Its wierd.

Oh, yeah! Such exciting news. I can't wait to meet baby Johnny (I am assuming that is his name I guess). This baby will be like my little brother, totally smoothered with motherly love from his three moms (you and his two sisters or course!)

Nicole. I know it blows my mind also especially when I feel him move. I am sure you can find something else to call Johnny :)

Ashlee- Yes they are going to smother him. I AM SCARED!!

Crystal- Yes we will name him John and probably call him Johnny. The girls already "fight" over who will be changing him. It is definetly going to be a challenge since they really aren't that old yet.

Mary- I am not perfect but she does know a good bargain when she sees one so at least she can always fall back on that :)
It will actually be the 6th John. Crazy hunh?

Emilie,

I came across your blog and I was so excited to see your family! I had heard many years ago that you were baptized and married Johnny Fish, and I just could not believe it! Congratulations!!! I know it has been a long time since all of that, but I am just so happy for you! It is so funny to see your blog and to see you as a mormon mommy just like so many of us. Our lives are so similar in some ways. I laughed when I read what you wrote about your daughter getting ready to head over to baby gap, because one of my memories of you is when I was working at the Gap and you came in while I was working and you had just got your hair cut and it was so dang cute...Man, sorry about that long sentence. Anyway, do you remember that? Crazy...Anyway (again), I just wanted to say hi!
P.S. When are you due? I am pregnant also and I think I may be having a boy as well. (We didn't find out, though) I am due at the beginning of October. Are you going to our 10 year reuntion? Maybe we can be big and round together. I'll literally be about to pop, but I'm still going to try and make it.

Hey Em, I am blog dropping I know but I found you by noticing a comment you posted on Crystal's site and thought oh how exciting, another blogger friend. I hope you don't mind if we add you to our link list? I am very excited to hear the news of your expecting a boy. Travis really wants a boy and it is so easy to think that it isn't possible after two girls but you have given us hope...

Ann,
So amazing to hear from you.
Belive me you are in good company when you say "it's so funny to see you as a mormon mommy" most of the time its me that finds it quite hilarious. Can you believe? That is the standard response when Johnny and I run in to people we both new from school. You cant blame people for fiinding us to be "most unlikely to hook up" :)

Actually youd be surprised at how often I have thought about you over the years. I know we were never "close friends" but you and I'd have to say Ryan Miller were 2 people that i distinctly remember being so kind and fun loving to be around in school and ofcourse also mormon. That was a big deal to me when I met johnny as you guys were my only "reference"to what mormon was. And what a GREAT reference. Its amazing how you always hear how to be an example and it really does matter. I put you on as a link and I will be checking your blog to see how you and your family are doing. SO GREAT TO HEAR from you.
