HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOTTIE!!!!!

My wonderful husband Johnny is turning THE BIG 30!!!
He doesn't like attention and he doesn't think birthdays are that big of a deal. So in the spirit of fun I HAD to post a blog ALL about HIM and his BIRTHDAY!!

I wanted to post a you tube video of him trying to dance and sing but I still want him to take me out for his birthday dinner so instead I'll post 30 reasons why I absolutely adore him in no particular order.

1)He has the most infectious smile.
2)He is extremly romantic
3)He is in love with his children
4)He has a great sense of humor
5)He likes chic flicks..Opps did I put that in writing?
6)He is a hard worker
7)He has a great six pack :)-
8)He tolerates my big mouth
9)He strives and suceeds in making me happy
10)He makes adorable babies
11)He is smart and continually trys to educate himself on new things
12)He is honest and trustworthy
13)He has a strong testimony and loves the church
14)He is the most nonjudgemental person I have ever met
15)He is ALWAYS willing to help someone
16)He is my best friend
17)He still makes my heart flutter when he texts me or leaves me little messages
18)He is so respectful of me and of others
19)He is a goofball and still a kid at heart
20)He is good with his hands (Take that the way you will)!!!!!!
21)He doesnt ever ask me when I'm going to lose the baby weight!!
22)He taught me the gospel
23)He is so much fun to hang out with and I ALWAYS enjoy his company
24)He is polite and treats me like a lady
25)He always has the most positive attitude about everything
26)He loves me for who I was and am today
27)He enjoys serving the lord in all his callings

My sister came to visit us and meet the baby. It is always so awesome when she comes to see us. It has ALWAYS been hard saying goodbye to her when she goes back but now that my kids cry and are sad when she leaves it makes it that much harder.She is the best aunt and sister I could ever ask for even from a gazillion miles away. We all love her so much. Enjoy the pictures.

So my AWESOME friend Lara calls me and says "I know you've had a rough couple of weeks and the girls are sick so I got you a little surprise go open your door".

Are you kidding me? How awesome is that. The girls freaked out and they couldnt believe how "pretty" these cupcakes were. Thanks Lara for making our day a lot nicer with icing on our fingers. But you better knock it off or I'll NEVER make it to the gym.

When Johnny was first talking to me about the church one of the "sneaky" ways he actually got me to go into the building for the first time (yes I was THAT stubborn) was to invite me to listen to a Christmas devotional. He told me it wasn't actually church service but a live broadcast of the Prophet speaking and that he thought I would enjoy it. Well he was right. I will never forget that night and how I felt listening to him. I was prepared to see this man come out with a robe and sit on a high chair with lots of jewelry (kind of like the pope). Then when Gordon B Hinckley walked out I looked at johnny and laughed and said "there is no way HE is the prophet of the Mormon church". Here was this little old man that looked so fragile and "real". I was so impressed with him and it wasn't because of his stature or dress or chair but because of the words that came out of his mouth. I still don't understand everything about the church but I understood the things he was saying. It was so easy to listen to him and love him. The devotional was back in 1999 but I still remember what he spoke about. It was such a special moment for my personal journey in finding my own testimony that I will always cherish.
